Never forget that McCandless was an arrogant kid who made a lot of friends, but ended up wasting his talents and destroying his family with his hubris and stupidity....

You cant say someone is arrogant for making a life choice. Reading his story and research his life has become something many people have taken on since he hit worldwide news.
Its the Chris McCandless's in this world that make it a true life experience. Living for the moment and understanding not all is material and religion in this world. Its physical...you just need to take the time to look at it and push yourself to a place where you struggle to achieve goals. Anyone can make the journey he did in a car...not many can do it as a leather tramp.
