i miss summer

i used to really enjoy winter, the sledding, snowboarding, snowball fights, making yellow snow, ice skating/hockey, but it is a little more limited in ol nampa, idaho. don't get me wrong, i love each one of those but there aren't many opportunities to capitalize on these. i think summer activities have trumped over winter activities: hiking, camping, biking, roller hockey, driving. only 177 days till the official start of summer.

list not in any order what-so-ever. trust me i will do these and will gladly share my experiences with you. life is too short to live a mundane life. i am currently working on biking across america and iceland, but mainly biking. i have already been to two of the seven new wonders of the world

travel bug

as of recently i have had an itching to travel...again. so i am looking into backpacking iceland for a month. not exactly sure when but i hope to do it soon. i'm trying to cook up a way to take pictures or video and sell it. still thinking though. i will say that i think iceland might be the prettiest place on the planet, just from pics i've seen. it's a bold statement but i hope to verify that soon enough.

fresh snow

so it's been a bit since i last blogged but better late than never. it has been snowing a decent amount in ol namps so i went out one night and tried to capture my neighborhood best as possible. enjoy....

festivas for the rest of us

so this saturday night my house got decorated for Christmas. two friends of mine, Lia and Amanda, came over to help me get the house in a festive mood. so we spent the evening listening to Sufjan Christmas (which if you don't have it, then you are missing out on some of the best Christmas music EVER). it is basically all decorated except i need to find a tree topper, so hopefully this week i will stop by thrift stores to try and find just the right one. enjoy the pics.
